I am a physician specializing in gastroenterology, with a clinical focus on the diagnosis and treatment of early gastrointestinal cancer. I have a strong interest in this field. Currently, I am still a junior endoscopist, and my knowledge and skills in advanced techniques such as endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) and magnifying endoscopy are quite limited. Therefore, I hope to pursue further training abroad to enhance my endoscopic diagnostic capabilities. My understanding of the Department of Gastroenterology at Dokkyo Medical University comes mainly from Professor Atsushi Irisawa. Professor Irisawa is highly renowned in the Japan Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society, particularly for his expertise in EUS. I believe that through such an exchange and learning opportunity, I can help improve the diagnosis and treatment of early gastrointestinal tumors in my own hospital. In addition, Professor Irisawa has previously visited our department for academic exchange and has maintained a long-term collaborative relationship with our gastroenterology team. These are the reasons why I have chosen to pursue advanced training at the Department of Gastroenterology, Dokkyo Medical University.

私は消化器内科医で、消化管早期がんの診断と治療にとても興味を持っています。まだ若手の内視鏡医であり、超音波内視鏡検査(EUS)や拡大内視鏡などの高度な技術に関する知識・手技は限定的なので、海外研修によって内視鏡診断能力を高めたいと考えていました。獨協医科大学病院消化器内科の入澤篤志教授は、日本消化器内視鏡学会において非常に高名であり、特にEUS（内視鏡的超音波）に関する専門性は中国でも知られています。過去に私が勤務する西安交通大学第二附属医院を訪問し、学術交流を行ってくださったことがあり、私たちのチームとは長期にわたる協力関係を築いています。獨協消化器内科との交流と高度な学びの機会を通じて、私は自分の病院における消化管早期腫瘍の診断と治療の向上に貢献できると信じ、研修を志望しました。

我是一名专注于消化内科的医生，临床重点是早期消化道癌症的诊断与治疗。我对这个领域充满热情。目前，我仍是一名初级内镜医师，对于如超声内镜（EUS）和放大内镜等高级技术的知识和技能还相对有限。因此，我希望能前往海外接受进一步培训，以提升自身的内镜诊断能力。我对獨協医科大学附属医院消化内科的了解主要来自入泽篤志教授。入泽教授在日本消化内镜学会中享有很高的声誉，特别是在超声内镜领域具有深厚的专业知识。我相信通过这次交流与学习的机会，我将能够提升本院在早期消化道肿瘤诊断和治疗方面的水平。此外，入泽教授曾到我科进行过学术交流，并与我们消化科团队保持着长期的合作关系。以上就是我选择前往獨協医科大学附属医院消化内科进行高级培训的原因。

Although this was the first month of my training at the hospital, I gained a great deal from the experience. First of all, the department’s secretaries are very warm and helpful—they assisted me with document submission and helped me become familiar with the surroundings. Even though it was my first time coming to Japan and I was in an unfamiliar environment, I never felt alone. Secondly, Professor Goda, who supervised my training, was extremely dedicated, meticulous, and responsible. He taught me a great deal of knowledge and shared many classic and rare cases that I had never seen before, which further deepened my interest in this field and motivated me to continue learning. In addition, the magnifying endoscopy procedures in the endoscopy unit were highly standardized, which gave me a more comprehensive understanding of this diagnostic technique. After returning to China, I hope to share these standardized practices with my colleagues to improve the detection rate of early gastrointestinal cancers in my hospital. In summary, my training experience in the Department of Gastroenterology has been incredibly rewarding. I believe this 4-month program will remain a valuable and memorable part of my professional journey.

研修は短期間でしたが、非常に多くのことを学び、得るものがありました。まず、秘書の方々がとても親切で温かく、書類の提出や環境への順応などさまざまな面でサポートしてくださいました。初めての日本で、まったく知らない環境でしたが孤独を感じることはありませんでした。次に、私の研修を指導してくださった内視鏡センター長の郷田憲一（病院教授）先生は、非常に熱心で、細やかで責任感のある方でした。郷田先生は多くの知識を教えてくださり、私が今まで見たことがなかった典型例や希少症例も数多く共有してくださいました。これにより、この分野への興味がさらに深まり、学び続けたいという意欲が強くなりました。さらに、内視鏡室での拡大内視鏡の手技は非常に標準化されており、この診断技術についてより体系的な理解を得ることができました。中国に戻った後は、こうした標準化された手技を同僚に共有し、自院での消化管早期がんの発見率向上に役立てたいと考えています。

Life in Tochigi Prefecture was peaceful and comfortable. The natural surroundings, clean environment, and slower pace of life made it an ideal place to focus on learning. Despite the language barrier, the kindness of the people and the support from the hospital staff helped me feel at home. I would highly recommend this department to anyone interested in advanced training in gastroenterology, especially in the field of early gastrointestinal tumor diagnosis and EUS. This experience has been both professionally enriching and personally meaningful.

栃木県での生活は穏やかで快適でした。豊かな自然、清潔な環境、ゆったりとした生活リズムは、学びに集中するには理想的な環境でした。言葉の壁はありましたが、人々の優しさや病院スタッフのサポートのおかげで自宅のように安心して過ごせました。消化器内科の高度な研修、特に消化管早期腫瘍の診断やEUSに関心のある方には、この科をぜひおすすめします。この経験は私にとって専門的にも個人的にも非常に有意義なものでした。
